Now that we (personally) are no longer in school, it's amazing how quickly the summer ends and school begins! But we still love the beginning of the school year - the smell of fresh notebooks and erasers, the joys of opening up new pencils or markers - it fills us with joy thinking about the good 'ol school days of seeing our friends again and getting to know a new teacher. Okay, we're a little nostalgic.
We recreated a popular project from Creative Maker Donna Budzynski to help us celebrate the first 100 days of the school year.

Here's what you need:
Here's what you do:
Place letters on poster board to spell "100 days of school = 100 smiles". Our letter set didn't include an "=" sign so to improvise we cut the ends off of two I's.
Use the circle punch to cut out 100 circles from cardstock.
Add smiles to the circles with a black marker.
Apply Removable Glue Dots or HybriBond Mounting Tape to the back of the poster board and attach it to the wall.
Use Permanent Glue Dots to adhere one smile to the poster board each day of school until you've completed the 100 days!
