12 Holiday Hacks - A Glue Dots Survival Guide

To help you stay focused on having fun with friends and family, we’ve put together 12 Holiday Hacks to help you get your gifts in order and prepare your home for guests. 

Last year, we published our first ever Glue Dots Survival Guide, "How to 'Make it' This Holiday Season".  This year, we're back with 12 Holiday Hacks - a Glue Dots survival guide filled with tips, tricks and plenty of free printables to make your home ready for the holiday.

#1.  Hang Holiday Lights with Flexible Hang Tabs - New for this holiday season are Glue Dots Flexible Hang Tabs. #2. Waterless Snow Globes - Want to make your home a little more festive without breaking the bank? Grab a few mason jars, a little fake snow and a few plastic winter pieces to create waterless snow globes. Click here for the full tutorial, including where to buy supplies for this project.

#3. DIY Wooden Snowman - Here's another Holiday home decor is easy and mess-free, our DIY Wooden Snowman.  We love easy DIY home decor projects that don’t require a lot of time, and this project can easily be done in an hour or two.  All you need are a few supplies and Glue Dots Advanced Strength adhesive to make this adorable wooden snowman for home. #4. Upcycled Gift Box - Have you kept a stash of boxes in good condition to re-use for presents?  Designer Grace shows you how easy it is to turn plain box into a festive gift box with Glue Dots and patterned paper.  All you need are Glue Dots, patterned paper and instructions, available here.

#5. Skip Tape, Stitch works great! Skip the tape dispenser and use new Stitch® Glue Squares to wrap your presents. Use Removable Glue Dots to secure wrapping paper to the package first and then use Stitch Glue Squares to secure the wrapping paper to itself as you wrap your present. #6. No More Rumpled Papers! Wrapping presents with traditional wrapping paper?  Keep your wrapping paper roll tidy with Removable Glue Dots.
