Making 4th of July home decor is easy with wood pieces and Glue Dots. Here's a cute project I made this year.
Here's what you need:
Here's what you do:
- Paint the large star red and paint the smaller star white. Set aside to dry.
- Paint the word July red and set aside to dry.
- Once all of the pieces are dry, adhere the small white star to larger red star with Permanent Glue Dots.
- Tear Glue Lines at the perforation and peel the liner off. Use the other clear liner to place the adhesive along the edge of the white star. Press on the Glue Lines to make sure they are adhered to the star and then remove the clear liner.
- Apply silver glitter onto the Glue Lines and press down on them to make sure the glitter is adhered.
- Adhere the word "July" to the white star using Ultra-Thin Glue Dots.
- Trim the Oly*Fun material into 6 - ½" x 12" strips using a paper trimmer. Staple 3 strips together. Do this twice.
- Adhere strips to the bottom backside of the red star using Permanent Glue Dots.
- Cut a small thin piece of Oly*Fun for a hanger on top, adhere using Permanent Glue Dots.
Hang on your door, fence, light post or anywhere you want add this festive decoration.
