By wrapping the candle in fabric like burlap and ribbon, you're able to easily give it personality and match your decor without worry of a fire hazard. Here's how you can quickly update a battery-operated candle to match your decor.

Here’s what you need:
- Stitch® Glue Squares
- Glue Dots® 1" Glue Lines
- Flameless (battery operated) Candle
- Burlap
- Ribbon
- Scissors
Here’s what you do:
- Cut a strip of burlap to the desired width. Make sure the length is about a 1/2 inch longer than the diameter of the candle.
- Apply Glue Squares along one edge of back of the burlap and along the front where the burlap overlaps.
- Adhere the burlap to the candle, wrap it around and adhere the other end on top. Press firmly for a secure hold. Trim any excess burlap from the candle.
- Wrap ribbing over the candle, estimate a good length and cut the ribbon.
- Apply 1" Glue Lines to the back of the ribbon. The clear liner will help you to place the line as close to the edge as possible. This helps the line to be more invisible.
- Adhere your ribbon over the center of the burlap and press into place.
- Add a second ribbon on top by wrapping it around the candle and tie it in a bow.
Selecting ribbon colors that compliment your style is a great way to make a battery operated candle a part of your home decor.
