Designer Donna returns to our blog with two school projects that she made with her grand-kids!
I did two projects with the help of my grand-kids.
The first is 100 Days of School, which I did with my 5 year-old granddaughter.
Here's what you need:
Here's what you do:
Punch or cut out 100 circles from cardstock.
Cut out letters (or use the Cricket) to spell "100 days of school = 100 smiles".
Add smiles to the circles with a pen or black marker.
Adhere all letters and smiles to the poster board with Poster Glue Dots.
After finishing this project, my granddaughter told me that she now hates smiles and is never going to make one again!! :-)
The second project I did was with my grandson, a Star of the Week display for his classroom.
Here's what you need:
Here's what you do:
Cut out all letters to spell out "Star of the Week" and your child's name. Cut out all stars and other shapes.
Arrange everything on the poster board before you decide to adhere everything down. Once you decide on your final lay out or design of the board, begin adhering the stars and letters with Permanent Glue Dots.
Adhere the pictures to the board with Poster Glue Dots.
Using a marker, write a brief description under each picture.
Have a great school year everyone!
