Gift this bookmark set to your favorite bookworm or make it with your child to inspire him or her to embrace the joys of reading.

Here's what you need:

Here's what you do:

  1. Cut the foam in to 2" x 8” pieces to create the base for your bookmarks.
  2. Punch a hole in the center top of the foam.
  3. Using a stencil, create the letters that spell out Learn, Grow, and Read. *You can even change up the words or make your bookmarks with your child’s name to personalize it.
  4. Cut out the letters with scissors or craft knife.
  5. Adhere the letters onto the foam pieces with Glue Squares.
  6. Add pen stitching lines around the bookmarks using a marker and a ruler.
  7. To create the twine tassel, wrap the twine 10 or more times around four of your fingers. Trim excess. Slip more twine to the top of the wounded up trim. Tie a couple of knots to secure to the top and trim excess. Tie the ends to close. Tie another piece of twine around the top of the tassel, horizontally and tie two knots to close. Trim the edges. Cut the ends of the tassel (the wounded up ones) to create the fringe look.
