Get the glitter and Glue Dots! We're going to make a peppermint gift tag that's sweet and unique!

Here's what you need:

  • XXL Glue Dots®
  • Red glitter or embossing powder
  • 2” Paper Punch
  • Marker
  • Ribbon or twine
  • White cardstock
  • Red cardstock
  • Plastic snack bag
  • Scissors

Here's what you do:

  1. If you need a guideline for cutting out your peppermint use a permanent marker to draw onto the clear liner that covers the XXL Glue Dot. Cut along your guidelines.
  2. Carefully peel the Glue Dots branded liner away from the XXL Glue Dot.
  3. Adhere the XXL Glue Dot onto white cardstock and remove the clear top liner.
  4. Add glitter or embossing powder. Red embossing powder was used and heated to emboss the adhesive.
  5. Using a 2" paper punch, punch out the peppermint.
  6. Cut the top off of a plastic snack bag and put the peppermint inside of it.
  7. Center your peppermint piece and fold the bag over it, closing it in the back.
  8. Apply another XXL Glue Dot over the closed bag covering the area where the peppermint piece is located. This should seal the bag closed.
  9. Punch out another 2" circle from red cardstock. You can add a stamped sentiment or write a note for your tag on this piece.
  10. Adhere the red 2" circle onto the XXL Glue Dot you just used to seal the peppermint piece inside of the bag.
  11. Tie the ends of the bag with ribbon or twine and you have a super sweet looking peppermint tag!

Already done with your gift wrap for this year? Pin it for next year! :-)
