Spring Fever for Easter Cards

You give us fever... Spring fever! We're burning up with a another great Easter card design from Designer Grace!  Not only do we have another song stuck in our heads, but we're also thinking about a very famous pop culture reference.  Do you know what it is? Leave a comment on our blog.

3″ x 4″ pocket scrapbooking cards are great to have around for last minute cards.  Like my other Easter cards, I added a design to the solid card base with stencils and ink pads.

Here's what you need:

• Craft Glue Dots®
• Mini Glue Dots®
• Pop Up Glue Dots®
• Pastel Cards, Die Cuts With a View
• Between the Lines Stencil Set, DecoArt
• Pink Ink
• Petite Banners Stamp, Inspired By Stamping
• Twine
• Flowers
• Rhinestones
• Cardstock (Mint green, Peach and Pink)
• Patterned papers
• Pocket scrapbooking cards
• Black Pen
• Scallop Circle die cut or punch
• 1 ¾” circle punch
• Foam applicator for ink

Here's what you do:

1. Cover the front of the card with the vertical line stencil. Tape the edges of the stencil onto your board or table. Add pink ink over the stencil using a foam applicator. Peel the stencil gently to reveal the design. Set aside to dry.
2. Cut the floral paper into a 3” circle. Adhere to the card towards the right edge with Craft Glue Dots.
3. Die cut the scallop circle frame from pink cardstock. Cut out the sentiment from the 3" x 4" card using a 1 ¾” inch circle punch. Adhere the sentiment over the scallop circle using Craft Glue Dots.
4. Create a slit on the fold of the card and slip some pink twine, twice around the front of the card. Tie the ends into a bow.
5. Adhere the scallop circle accent over the twine using Pop Up Glue Dots.
6. Adhere the flower over the twine bow with Mini Glue Dots.
7. Add the rhinestones to the card for a finishing touch.
