St. Patrick's Day is actually one of my family's favorite holidays and one that often you have no idea what to do with. I thought it would be fun to take these aloe vera green hand sanitizer bottles and turn them into little gifts for people we know (like my children's teachers and family friends) and to tell them we feel lucky to have them in our lives. They're so easy and fun to make too!

Here's what you need:

  • Craft Glue DotsĀ®
  • St. Patrick's Day colored designer cardstock (DCWV)
  • Green hand sanitizer
  • Heart Punch
  • Scissors
  • Marker

Here's what you do:

  1. Measure your first sheet of green designer paper (that will be your background) to be the length of your hand sanitizer bottle plus another two inches. Cut it in a rectangle.
  2. Then cut a circle at the top to go over the top of the bottle.
  3. Fold in front and back to fit the bottle and use your Craft Glue Dots to adhere it to the bottle.
  4. Write the word "Lucky" at the bottom or any other sentiment you would like.
  5. Punch out 9 hearts of your secondary designer paper and make them into three separate 3D hearts.
  6. Cut the clover stem and adhere the shamrock petals and stem together onto the background paper on the soap bottle.
