Kid's Table Napkin Rings

Whether you’re hosting Thanksgiving for the first time or you’re a weathered veteran for this holiday, making sure everything comes to together can be very stressful. Grace Tolman is on our blog with her second project for the kids table at Thanksgiving to help ease your holiday stress.

Here’s the second project I put together for a Thanksgiving Day kids table.  You can make the napkin rings ahead of time or you can set out the supplies and have the kids make them (and help set the table at the same time).  The kids can make their crafts and stay out of the kitchen until dinner is ready – a win-win for everyone!

Time: Approximately 15 minutes
Level: Beginner

Supplies:

Directions:

  1. Cut out a 1” wide piece from the empty toilet paper roll. Cut a 1 ½” wide of paper strip from the brown chevron paper. Cover the toilet paper roll with the pattern paper. Secure the ends with Glue Dots Advanced Strength Dispenser.
  2. Punch out a 1 ¾” circle from the glittered gold cardstock. Use your favorite template for a leaf or create your own to trace the shape onto the rest of the colored cardstock. Cut out the leaves and adhere on the back of the gold cardstock circle. Adhere using Craft Glue Dots.
  3. Add the googley eyes using Craft Glue Dots and add a smile underneath the eyes using a black pen. Adhere the “turkey” face using Pop Up Glue Dots onto the napkin holder.
