Made By: Amanda Tibbitts

Level: Quick and Easy

Time: 20 Minutes

Sizes: One - 3 1/8” X 1 ¾” tag
             One - 4 5/8” X 2 ¾” tag

Supplies:

  • Permanent GlueTape
  • 2 wood tags
  • Hero Arts Father’s Day Stamps
  • Heidi Swapp Stencil Minis in Patterns and Insta-Patterns
  • Broken China Distress Oxide Ink
  • Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Ink
  • Frayed Burlap Distress Ink
  • 3 Distress ink daubers
  • Scrap of Desert Storm Neenah cardstock
  • Scrap paper
  • Baby wipe or stamp cleaner
  • Scissors
  • Small guillotine trimmer

Directions:
Choose which Heidi Swapp stencil mini you want to use. With the smaller tag, use the broken china and pounce the color onto the wood tag. Add as much or as little color you want.

Once you’re satisfied with the color, lift the stencil straight up and wipe it off with the baby wipe or stamp cleaner.

Follow these same steps for the larger tag.  Make sure to wipe off your stencils!

With the Hero Arts stamp set, choose your sentiments. Stamp them on the Desert Storm scrap with the frayed burlap distress ink. Use a baby wipe to clean off the stamp.Stamp the “Happy Father’s Day” sentiment and the “#1 Dad” sentiment onto craft paper.

Use the guillotine trimmer to trim the “Happy Father’s Day” sentiment and the “#1 Dad” sentiment into a rectangle.  Rub some frayed burlap around the edges of each sentiment.

Apply permanent GlueTape to the back of the sentiment and attach to the tag.

With the scissors, if needed, cut apart the “Best Dad Ever!” stamped image evenly.

Adhere it to the tag with the Permanent GlueTape.

Now you’ve got two tags to give Dad! Happy Father’s Day!
