Here's what you do:
Cut a piece of two sided textured card stock to 8.5 x 5.5 inches. Use a Score Pal to score at 5.5 inch and fold in half. Use the Paper Trimmer to trim ¾ inch off the top layer so that the other inside color shows through for contrast.
Have your child use their finger to make the sheep’s wool. Tip: Frisbees are great tools to use for paint and make for an easy clean up.
While the paint is drying, use fabric scissors to cut out a sheep head shape and two legs. Tie a bow out of the satin ribbon. Use Craft Glue Dots to adhere it over the painted wool.
Use your electronic die cutting machine to cut out the sentiment “I…Ewe, Maa!” Cut a heart out of paper using a die and the Sizzix BigShot. When the paint is dry, use Mini Glue Dots to adhere the sentiment and heart.
Adhere the bow under the sheep’s chin with Craft Glue Dots. Add paper flowers and bling using to the card using more Craft Dots. Don't forget to add two googlie eyes to the sheep!
Cut the white card stock down to 4.5" x 8". Use Ultra-Thin Glue Dots to adhere the paper to the inside of the card. This will give you a great place to write other personal thoughts to the recipient.
To simplify and hasten this project, use a black Sharpie Marker to hand letter the punny sentiment.
Bring a smile to anyone’s face with this quirky card!
Don't forget to save it for later!
