Glass candle holders are easy to personalize for holidays, but applying vinyl to the curved shape of glass can be tricky. Card stock is often simpler to adhere and offers the same silhouette for a lit candle. All products in this project are conveniently available for purchase at your local Walmart.

Size: Approximately 7” or other size as determined by the glass that you choose
Please note that this is a Cricut project that requires the use of a Cricut Explore machine and Cricut Design Space.
Here's what you need:
Here's what you do:
Measure the length of the glass. Jot this number down. Set the glass aside.
Open up Cricut Design Space on your preferred device.
Begin a new project. Click “Insert Images.”
The cat used in this project is from the “Pumpkin Carvings” cartridge. In Cricut Design Space, find it easily by searching for image #M3EC99. Of course, any silhouette from the “Pumpkin Carvings” cartridge would make a great image for this project if you so choose.
Insert the cat into the project canvas.
Click the “unlock” icon on the lower left of the image.
Pull the cat image to approximately 7” in length OR a tad smaller than the glass if your glass is a different size. Adjust the width to any size that you choose.
Apply the black glitter card stock to the Cricut Standard Grip Cutting Mat.
Cut the cat with the Cricut Explore Air 2.
Apply the Glue Dots All Purpose Dots to the back of the cat. One of the wonderful product attributes of Glue Dots is that they are flexible, making it easy for you to adjust the Glue Dots to fit any area of your card stock.
Firmly press the card stock onto the front of the glass.
Fill with a large candle, rocks, faux spider web, or any other Halloween themed item of your choosing.
There are numerous options to customizing this project. One fun option is to use black glitter card stock to cut pumpkin carving faces and apply them to tall glasses as candy holders. What cute Halloween variations can you imagine?
