Coloring books for adults are all the rage right now, but have you thought of using watercolors and coloring a card? I love this idea and had so much fun making this card that it would be great for anyone!

Made by: Robyn Power
Time: 20 minutes
Level: Beginner
Size: Approximately 5" x 7"

Here's what you need:

  • Craft Glue DotsĀ®
  • DCWV Paint and Create - Cardstock, paintbrush and watercolors included
  • Cardstock
  • Scissors/Paper cutter
  • Optional: Paper hole punch and twineor string

Here's what you do:

Cut your card stock to create a 5" x 7" card base. Choose a design from DCWV's Paint and Create options to use for your card and cut it out to fit the size of your card base.

Use the watercolor paint and paintbrush that is included with the Paint and Create kit and have some fun painting and adding color to your card design. Set aside to dry.

Once dry, use Craft Glue Dots to assemble your watercolor design to the card base.

Optional: To add a little texture and dimension to your card, you can also punch a few small holes and thread through twine or string.

Definitely a winner in my book! Perfect for friends or family and I enjoyed being able to paint and be creative as I made it too!
