Do you need a decorative way to send a note of thanks or give encouragement to a teacher? This is a great way to do just that. Create a spiral apple card. Make a few and keep them on hand so you have them at the ready.
Made by: Janet Van Lone Trieschman
Level: Intermediate
Time: 30 minutes
Size: 6.65" x 4.75"
Here's what you need:
- Glue Dots® Mini Dots™
- Paper - red, white, green, brown
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Bone folder
- Cutting template or cutting machine
Here's what you do:
Cut shapes from the appropriate colored papers.
Place red spiral apple shape inside the card, making sure to fill the opening with red paper.
Once you are happy with the placement, use Mini Glue Dots on the end of the red paper spiral and close the card to adhere the paper in place. Do so again for the other end of the spiral.
On the front of the card, attached the leaves and stem with Mini Glue Dots.
For small pieces of paper, press the paper onto the Mini Glue Dot instead of trying to roll a Glue Dot onto the paper.
If Mini Glue Dots are too large for the piece of paper you are gluing use Glue Dots Micro Dots instead.
