How to Upcycle An Old Tray Into A Jewelry Display

Time: Approximately 1 hour (not including drying time)
Level: Beginner
Here's what you need:
- Glue Dots® Permanent Glue Squares®
- Glue Dots® All Purpose Dots™ or Glue Dots® Advanced Strength Dispenser
- DCWV Paint & Create watercolor paper (Guilded Geo)
- Dutch Boy Satin Acrylic Enamel paint (Glazed Teal)
- Office desk tray
- Resin floral embellishments
- Sanding block
- Scissors
- Wall hooks
- Water
Here's what you do:
Lightly sand desk tray, wipe clean, apply 2-3 coats of paint and allow tray to dry in between coats.
Apply watercolor paint to the DCWV paper and let dry.
Use scissors to cut out the painted design and attach to desk tray using Permanent Glue Squares.
Secure the floral embellishments to desk tray using All Purpose Dots or Advanced Strength Glue Dots.
Attach wall hooks to back of desk tray and hang on wall to display jewelry.
