MADE BY: AMANDA TIBBITTS   |   TIME: 60 MINUTES
LEVEL: ADVANCED |  SIZE: THREE FLOWERS OF VARYING SIZES, ONE 3" X 6" NOTE CARD WITH ENVELOPE

Supplies:

Adhesive:

Die Cuts:

  • 12 Gold Stars cut at 3” w
  • Layered USA cut at 8.5” w
  • One Extra Backing Piece of the USA cut at 8.5” w

Other:

  • Twine
  • Scissors
  • 7 Confetti Style Sequins in coordinating colors
  • Cricut or other Die Cut Machine

Directions:

  1. Use some Glue Dots® All Purpose Dots on the layered USA element. They are strong enough you shouldn’t need a bunch. Remember to not touch the dot while you’re gluing! Don’t glue the extra backing piece yet.
  2. Measure how much twine you’ll want for your finished banner. Lay it on the backside of the of the layered USA and space out the first set of stars you want. These can be farther away from the USA or closer. Add one Glue Dots® All Purpose Dot to the back of one of the stars. Place it on the twine and press gently to grab the twine.
  3. Flip one star over and add another Glue Dots® All Purpose Dot to the middle, and glue it directly behind the first star. This will finish off the design and trap the twine inside the stars.
  4. Continue adding one Glue Dots® All Purpose Dots to each of the 6 stars and add them to the twine.
  5. Once the stars are placed on the twine, pull it taught to add it to the back of the layered USA. Add a row of the Glue Dots® All Purpose Dots to the back and lay the twine in the middle of each dot. Add a few more dots on the back of the extra backer pieces to the USA and glue it over the top of the twine and the layered USA.
  6. Sprinkle a few of the confetti style sequins to the USA and glue them with the Glue Dots® Micro Dots.

This cute banner is so fun and will be a great addition to your July decor!
