Inspiration and Project Ideas from Glue Dots®

Watercolor Card Set

I wanted to check the strength of the new Permanent Premimium GlueTape on various mediums. For this card set, I used a paper where I’ve done some water color technique to see if the new Premium GlueTape will hold up with the “warping” that was created by the water color.  I was not disappointed. It is definitely a strong and easy adhesive to use.

Here's what you do:

Pick three designs to water color. Using the various colors in the water color set, bring some color into the coloring paper. Set aside to dry.

Cut out three A2 size cards from white cardstock. Cut one watercolored print into a 4 x5 1/4” piece, another one that is 3 ¾ x 5 1/4”, and the last one measuring 3 ¾ x 5”.

Matt all of the prints with black cardstock; Adhere using Permanent Premium GlueTape. Trim leaving a 1/8” trim all around each print.

Stamp the sentiments onto white cardstock. Trim into 3/4” strips. Cut one end into a notch.

Adhere the matted prints onto the front of the cards with Permanent Premium GlueTape and add the sentiment on the bottom right side of the cards with Permanent Premium GlueTape.

Add some sequins to the card as a finishing touch with Mini Glue Dots®.

Don't forget to Pin it and save it for later!
