Well I'm back again with more DIY farmhouse decor for you and this time I'm loving the goats, along with a paper magnolia leaf wreath. And this one is super fast and can be festive OR kept up all year round!
Designed by: Robyn
Time: 15 minutes
Level: Moderate Handiness
Size: Aprox. 8" x 10"
Supplies
- Craft Dots™
- Wood plaque
- Plaid and green cardstock
- Black Cardstock or vinyl
- White acrylic paint
- String or twine
- Vinyl and paper cutting machine
Directions:
Paint your wood plaque white.
Sand the edges a bit to distress it.
Cut your plaid cardstock (or Designer paper) to fit your plaque as a strip across it horizontally, and adhere it using your Craft Dots.
Using your vinyl/paper cutting machine (I used a Silhouette), cut the shapes of two goats (or other animals if you prefer) and adhere to the top and bottom of the plaque, slightly overlapping the center strip of paper.
Cut out several small leaves. Place Craft Dots around the center in a circle, then adhere the leaves.
The leaves will make a nice wreath. If you want to add more dimension slightly bend the leaves so that they pop-up off of the plaque.
Tie a bow with your string/twine and add to your wreath, allowing the ends to drape down a little bit to give it more dimension.
That's it. Simple and perfect for the festive farmhouse look decor. Happy creating!
