Make a Beautiful Wreath with Autumn Colors and Tulle
Posted on Sep 19, 2014 10:26:25 AM by The Team at GDIAdd the beautiful fall colors to your front door with tulle, Mini Glue Dots® and a foam wreath!
We have a quick, simple and clean project for your home with help from Glue Dots!
Here's what you need to make an easy, no-sew wreath for your front door:
- Mini Glue Dots®
- 12" diameter foam wreath
- Tulle (1 spool of each color; three different colors)
Here's what you do:
- Cut about 15 strips of tulle in three different colors. Each strip should be about 14" long and at least 2" wide. Note: Glitter tulle does not have as much on the spool as the plain tulle, so cutting into precise strips is key.
- Lay the strips of tulle in a circle, with the colors alternating to make a pattern, and put the foam wreath ring on top. This will help you visualize how much tulle you have and if you will need more strips.
- Once you have the wreath and tulle laid out, place Mini Glue Dots in the middle of each tulle strip and adhere it to the foam wreath base. This will keep it from moving around while you're working.
- In a larks knot, tie the tulle around the wreath with alternating colors and you're done!
