Beautiful Day Valentine's Day Card

Grab the buttons! We're embellishing a Valentine's Day card with Designer Grace.

I used some buttons to create a one of a kind heart accent for this Valentine’s Day Card.

Here's what you need: 

• 1” Glue Lines®
• Mini Glue Dots®
• Pop Up Glue Dots®
• Cardstock (used Kraft and White from WorldWin Papers)
• Patterned paper (used Sweetheart, 6" x 6" paper pad, Doodlebug Design Inc.)
• Stamp (used Big Notes III, Inspired By Stamping)
• Assorted buttons (used Pink, Red and White)
• Chestnut or brown ink
• Pink Twine (used Blossom from The Twinery)
• Die Cut Machine
• Scallop punch
• Scissors
• Paper trimmer

Here's what you do:

1. Create the vertical card with the Kraft cardstock.
2. Cut and adhere a 4 7/8” x 6” piece of pink patterned paper on the top of the card using 1” Glue Lines. Cut and adhere a 4 7/8” x 2” piece of hearts paper on the bottom of the card with 1” Glue Lines.
3. Punch a scallop border from white cardstock, trim to 4 7/8” long and adhere over the hearts paper with 1” Glue Lines.
4. Wrap some pink twine around the bottom of the card. Tie the end into a bow.
5. Using the negative portion of a die cut heart as a template; fill a white cardstock with buttons using Mini Glue Dots. Trim the white cardstock and adhere to the card using 1” Glue Lines.
6. Stamp the sentiment onto white cardstock, trim cutting the right side into a notch and adhere to the card using Pop Up Glue Dots.
