"Cherish" Candle Jar

Designer Grace is on our blog this week with colorful additions to your bridal shower, rehearsal or wedding reception.  Today, she shows you how to easily make candle decorations which can be used with real candles or battery operated tea lights. Take a look at what she has created and customize it with your color scheme.

Here's what you need:"Cherish" Candle Jar by Grace Tolman

Here's what you do:

  1. Clean the glass jar and dry completely."Cherish" Candle (back) by Grace Tolman
  2. Wrap the burlap trim around the outside of the jar. Secure with 1" Glue Lines and trim excess.
  3. Place "Cherish" sticker on the burlap, wrapping it around the jar.
  4. Wrap tulle around the top rim of the jar. Tie the ends into a bow.
  5. Adhere an oversize pearl onto the center of a button using Mini Glue Dots.
  6. Attach the pearl and button embellishment to the center of the bow with Mini Glue Dots.

Note: If you're venue doesn't allow tea light candles, you can fill these with battery operated tea lights for the same effect.
