Teacher Appreciation Gift - Popcorn Gift

Show your appreciation for your child's teacher with a simple popcorn gift.  Designer Dawn shows you how fast and easy it is to make a teacher appreciation gift with a sweet sentiment and Jiffy Pop popcorn.  If you're child's teacher did a great job or was extra helpful this year, consider adding a small gift card to a local movie theater.

Show your appreciation to a teacher with a decorative popcorn treat. Give it alone, or add a pair of movie tickets to show even more appreciation to the teacher who has guided, taught, and nurtured your child all school year.

Here's what you need:Popcorn Gift

Here's what you do:

  1. Cut a 7" circle out of card stock using an electronic cutting machine. (If you do not have a machine, find a lid or plate that measures 7" to create a circle template. Trace with a pencil and cut out with a pair of scissors.)
  2. Use Ink to stamp your gratitude sentiment. (Another option is to print out your desired sentiment on the card stock before you cut out the 7" circle.)
  3. Arrange paper flowers as you like on the circle. Tip: Once you have your flowers arranged in a pleasing manner, take a picture on your cell phone. Then, as you use Craft Glue Dots to secure the paper flowers, refer to the cellphone picture for original placement. For added dimension, use Pop Up Glue Dots to raise up flowers and layer behind or around other flowers.
  4. Tie Ribbon onto the handle using square knots. Then, use Removable Glue Dots to secure the decorative panel to the Jiffy Pop popcorn packaging.

By using Removable Glue Dots, the recipient can enjoy the grateful sentiment and decorative panel long after the movie has ended and the popcorn snack has been devoured!
