Are you having kids over for Thanksgiving? Create a Turkey Treat bag just for them!
If you're having kids over for Thanksgiving, sometimes keeping them occupied can be challenging. That's where this adorable Turkey Treat Bag comes in! Fill it with a small toy, crayons (if they can color on their place mat), or something else they'll enjoy. Of course, you can also fill it with candy and let the kids enjoy it after dinner - the options are endless. If you're having a large family or group over, enlist the help of older kids and set up an assembly line to create these cute little guys, then they can fill their own turkey treat bags with anything they want.
- 1" Glue Lines®
- Mini Glue Dots®
- Craft Glue Dots®
- 1 brown paper bag
- 6 paper feathers (cut from cardstock or patterned paper)
- 1 turkey head including the beak and wattle (that's the red dangle thing)
- Black marker
Here's what you do:
Fill the brown paper bag with a treat of your choice. Fold the top over 2 times and place a 1" Glue Line on the fold. Fold and press.
Apply the beak and waddle to the turkey head with Mini Glue Dots. Draw eyes on the turkey.
Secure the turkey head to the bag with Craft Glue Dots. Fan out the turkey feathers and place a Mini Glue Dots between each feather.
Secure the feathers to the backside of the turkey bag with Craft Glue Dots.
Gobble, gobble! Have a great Turkey Day!
