Winter Tulle Wreath

While it's cold and snowing outside, we're making a winter-themed wreath inside.

Here’s what you need:Glue Dots Winter Wreath

  • Mini Glue Dots®
  • 12" diameter foam wreath
  • Tulle (We used white glitter tulle)
  • Plastic Glitter covered poinsettia flowers

Here’s what you do:

  1. Cut about 15 strips of tulle. Each strip should be about 14″ long and at least 2″ wide. Note: Glitter tulle does not have as much on the spool as the plain tulle, so cutting into precise strips is key.
  2. Lay the strips of tulle in a circle and put the foam wreath ring on top. This will help you visualize how much tulle you have and if you will need more strips.
  3. Once you have the wreath and tulle laid out, place Mini Glue Dots in the middle of each tulle strip and adhere it to the foam wreath base. This will keep it from moving around while you’re working.
  4. In a larks knot, tie the tulle around the wreath.
  5. Take your coordinating flowers and alternate them around the wreath by pushing the stems through the tulle and into the foam.
  6. Tip: Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere the flowers in place if they are not staying secured in the foam.

That's it!  You can find all of the supplies for this project at your local Michaels.

Stay warm!
