Use Pop-Up Dots to add a little pizzazz to your Mother’s Day card by turning it into a shaker card. It’s a fun and easy way to add an interactive element.

Size: 4 ¼” x 5 ½” (A2)
Materials:
- Pop-up Dots™
- Permanent GlueTape
- Patterned Paper
- Sequins
- Acetate
- A way to cut the word “MOM” (Templates, manual dies, or a digital die cutting machine)
Directions:
Cut a card base to 8 ½” x 5 ½”. Fold in half to create a 4 ¼” to 5 ½” card.
Cut a piece of patterned paper to 4 1/8” x 5 3/8”. Attach to base with Permanent GlueTape.
Cut a piece of patterned paper to 4” x 5 ½”. Attach at an angle to the base with Permanent GlueTape. Trim off the corners that hang over the sides.
Cut out two M’s and two O’s (the word MOM plus an extra O).
Attach the word “MOM” to the card base with Permanent GlueTape.
Stretch out some Pop-Up Dots and place them around the O. Place sequins inside the O.
Attach acetate to the back of the 2nd letter O, then glue the O on top of the first (sequin filled) O.
Choose colors that your mom loves, to personalize this card just for her. You can also swap out the center O in MOM for a heart shape instead, to send some extra love.
