St. Patrick's Day Note Set

This set of Note Cards comes together pretty quick with a bit of ink blending, gold splatters and shamrocks!

Supplies:

Adhesive:

• Glue Dots® Mini Glue Dots

Die Cuts:

• 6 Card Bases cut at 3”w by 6” h scored at 3”
• 6 Card Mats cut at 2.75” square
• 6 Shamrocks cut at 2.75” w
• 6 Shamrocks cut at 1.5”
• 6 Sentiment Strips cut at 2.75” w by 0.5” h
• 6 Envelopes cut at 6.25” w by 6.5” h

Everything Else:

• Distress Oxide Inks and applicators in Lumberjack Plaid, Fossilized Amber, Uncharted Mariner, Rustic Wilderness
• Metallic Watercolor Palette
• Water Brush
• Distress Sprayer
• Paper Towel
• Scratch Paper
• Craft Mat
• Bone Folder

Directions:

1. With the Lumberjack Plaid Distress Ink, begin blending it on 1/3 of a card mat. Then add some Fossilized Amber, and finish with Uncharted Mariner. Be patient with your blending. It may take a few passes of each color to make a smooth blend. Follow the same pattern for the remaining card mats.
   
   
2. Once your panels are blended, use the Distress Sprayer to add some water droplets to the panels. Dob up some of the water with the paper towel. If you spray too much water, you can add some more ink to blend it away. Once all are done, set them aside to dry.
   
3. While the card mats are drying, use the Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide to add a bit of distressing along each of the shamrocks.
   
4. Once the card mats are dry, add some water from the water brush to a gold watercolor and splatter it on the card panel. Add as many or as few as you’d like. Once they are all splattered, set them aside to dry.
5. Use the bone folder to enforce the creases on the card bases. Once the card mats are dry from the gold splatters, use the Glue Dots® Mini Dots to add each of them to a card base.
   
   
6. Using the Glue Dots® Mini Dots, add the 2.75” w shamrock to the card mat.  
7. With the bone folder, crease the score lines on each envelope. Add some Glue Dots® Mini Dots to the inside flaps to glue the envelope together.
   
   
8. Add some Glue Dots® Mini Dots to the 1.5” w shamrocks and glue them to the front-left-bottom side of each envelope. Add one Glue Dots® Mini Dot to the inside of the top flap and add a bit of the Glue Dots® release paper to it to keep it from sticking to the envelope until you’re ready to use the card.
