Use Glue Dots® and Mason jar lids to create fun, inexpensive seasonal coasters that work well and look great sitting out on any table.
Made by: Samantha Taylor
Time: 45 minutes plus drying time
Level: Intermediate
Size: 4” circle
Here's what you need:
- Glue Dots® All Purpose Dots™
- Glue Dots® Glue Lines®
- Wide Mouth Mason Jar Lids with Bands
- Cork
- Apple Barrel Paint
Here's what you do:
Trace lid on cork. Cut out circles.
Use Glue Lines to attach the lid to the band.
Use All Purpose Glue Dots® to attach the cork to the lid.
Paint some spooky (or not so spooky) Halloween images on the cork. Let dry, then set out to use!
You can really customize these coasters by adding your own personal Halloween style to the images and colors you choose to paint on the cork. Since you’re using Glue Dot® and Glue Lines® there’s no waiting for glue to dry, only paint! And remember: Mason jar lids come in packs of 12, so why not save a few and make yourself some Christmas coasters while you’re at it?
