Make Monster Halloween Treat Bags with Supplies at Walmart
Posted on Sep 27, 2017 4:33:00 PM by Samantha TaylorCreate these silly monster Halloween treat bags for the little monsters in your life…or better yet, have them help you create them! Just make sure to get a little extra candy for snacking. Using Glue Dots® instead of liquid glue helps keep this project mess free.
Plus, all of the supplies are available at Walmart.
Made by: Samantha Taylor
Time: 15 minutes
Level: Intermediate
Size: 5 ½” x 3”
Here's what you need:
- Glue Dots® Craft Dots™
- Glue Dots® Glue Lines®
- 4" x 3" clear favor or treat bags
- 1" circle punch or die
- ½" circle punch or die
- Colored card stock
- Colored Candy
Here's what you do:
Cut main piece of card stock to 3" x 3". Fold in half. This will be your bag topper.
Punch eyes: Two - 1" white circles and two - ½" black circles. Use Craft Glue Dots to attach the black circles to the white circles.
Cut 2 horns from a different color card stock.
Cut 3 teeth from white card stock.
Attach eyes, teeth, and horns to the bag topper using Craft Glue Dots.
Fill clear bag with colored candy.
Use Glue Lines to attach bag toppers to bags.
This project is a great stash buster. Use scraps of card stock you already have on hand to create multi colored monsters in any color combo under the rainbow. Make a few to give to the kids in your life, or make a whole bunch for a fun not so spooky Halloween class treat!
