- Pint sized mason jar with ring and lid
- Yellow paper flowers from Eyelet Outlet
- Ribbon
- Orange felt
- Two ½ inch googlie eyes
- Bling or other embellishments as desired
- Yellow dye ink
- Scissors
- Sponges
Here's what you do:
Cut a beak and feet from orange felt. You may want to use a flower die with long petals to create the feet. Adhere them to the mason jar, along with the googlie eyes, with Advanced Strength Glue Dots.
Use Glue Lines to add ribbon around the lid of the jar. Create a bow from ribbon and add it to the rim of the lid with Pop Up Glue Dots. Fill the jar with yellow candy or candy with yellow wrappers. Screw on the metal rim and lid.
Trim large, yellow paper flowers to create two wing shapes. Use two flowers for added depth for each wing. Sponge yellow ink along the edges for added interest. Use Advanced Strength Glue Dots to adhere the wings and desired embellishments to the sides of the mason jar.
