Upcycle a plain basket, jar, or tin can with All Purpose Glue Dots, new Premium Permanent GlueTape, and other materials into an Easter gift or decoration.
Made by: Melanie East
Time: 15 minutes
Level: Beginner
Size: Varys, dependent on the size of the basket, jar, or can
Here's what you need:
- Glue Dots® Premium Permanent GlueTape™
- All Purpose Glue Dots®
- Basket, jar, or tin can (whatever you have around the house works!)
- Scissors
- Twine
- Felt bunny shape
- Wide lace
Here's what you do:
I am using a plastic basket for this Easter craft, but you can use a jar, can, or other container you have around your home.
Apply Premium Permanent Gluetape around your container, starting at the top adding the adhesive all the way to the bottom. You can also run the Premium GlueTape vertically to get the same effect.
Wrap the twine around, securing with the Gluetape.
Wrap the lace around the twine, using All Purpose Glue Dots to secure it onto the twine and the basket.
Use All Purpose Glue Dots to attach the felt bunny to the front.
Seasonal décor doesn’t have to be expensive! Upcycle items that you already have to make festive decorations. While any basket or jar will work, tin cans work the best. The cylinder shape and surface hold the Glue Dots and twine the best.
